Lecce, between churches and balconies, doors and masks, it is the city of stylistic excess, of the perfumes of the Mediterranean and of the great beauty. An open-air museum among the most fascinating in Italy and the pearl of Puglia, that will make you feel the first actors of a true Baroque theater. Scenic and welcoming, Lecce attracts thousands of tourists from all over the world every summer, bat is also much loved by Italians they want a dream holiday in beautiful Puglia.

Galatina  is the third municipality for population of the Lecce province, historical symbol of the city is the Palazzo (or Castle) Ducale, dating back to the sixteenth century and once home of the Galatian nobility. There are many churches to visit, including: Basilica of Santa Caterina d’Alessandria (from 1870 declared a national monument), the Mother Church of Saints Peter and Paul, the Church of the Holy Souls of Purgatory. There are many other churches in the historic center, all very interesting from an artistic point of view.

Gallipoli is represented primarily by the wonderful Aragonese Castle. The historic center, located on an island offshore, hosts places of worship such as the Cathedral of Sant’Agata, with its richly decorated facade. Not far away, the Church of Santa Maria della Purità has a majolica floor. Although part of the Gallipoli  Castle, the Rivellino Tower is independent of the main building. On the other side of the bridge, on the mainland, is the Greek Fountain, dating back to the Renaissance.

Otranto has a different charm, is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful villages of Salento, is a very old town, which preserves monuments, streets, stones and an atmosphere of other times. At least three things to see absolutely: the Aragonese Castle, the Annunziata Cathedral and the Church of San Pietro.

Santa Maria di Leuca is a fantastic place for summer holiday, with tourist facilities, worldliness, dance, sea, events, beaches, sun and festivals, but visit Leuca means and above all history, means retracing a centuries-old path in which each era and population has left tangible traces of its passage, it means to admire architectural beauties, unique and wild landscapes, it means to immerse oneself in particular and involving atmospheres, to inebriate with typical perfumes, of characteristic sounds, of unique flavors. The promontory Japigio governs everything from above: here it is easy for the eye to lose itself, enchanted by the magnificent ancient villas, by the view of the infinite sea, by the beauty of the Sanctuary of the Virgin “de Finibus Terrae”,  fantastic legacy of past populations; always from the promontory falls the impressive Cascata Monumentale, Leuca is all this.
